Yayın Well-being in workplace: case of Bosnia and Herzegovina(Maltepe Üniversitesi, 2019) Lazic, Dejan; Spasic, AleksaConsidering the dissatisfaction with the workplace of a certain number of employees and a enormous number of people who left Bosnia and Herzegovina (between 2013. and 2017. about 150.000 people) due to high unemployment in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we believe that this topic is of crucial importance both for understanding this problem and for finding potential solutions. In order to properly conduct our research, we need to include a method by which will result in precise and accurate findings. We will conduct the survey through employee surveys and interviews. The target group will be employed in various workplaces, from different branches of the economy, at the age of 18 to 65 years. Our survey will provide information on employees’ salaries, employees’ satisfaction with the salary they receive, hours spent at work, employees’ satisfaction with the conditions in which they work, relations of directors and managers towards employees (all these characteristics will be compared to professional education, gender, and age). The aim of the research is to calculate the level of employees’ satisfaction in relation to their workplace and working conditions, simultaneously discovering the reasons of their possible dissatisfaction. Our study will provide important data and information which will create potential solutions, and having in mind the effect of improving the social and economical status of employees by improving their workplaces will also lead to the increase of economical prosperity and possibly decrease of the workers outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
