Özet
Son dönem Osmanlı kadınlarından olan Fatma Âliye, bilgisi ve verdiği mücadele ile dönemine damga vurarak, kendisinden sonra gelen kadın yazarlara yol göstermiştir. 19. yüzyılda bir kadının yazarlık yapması tuhaf karşılanırken Fatma Âliye, Ahmet Cevdet Paşa ve Ahmet Mithat Efendi’nin desteği ile yazın dünyasına ilk adımını atmıştır. Temkinli bir şekilde ilerlemiş olan Fatma Âliye, kadının toplumdaki konumundan rahatsız olmuş olacak ki karşı cinse boyun eğmemesi gerektiğini romanlarına taşımıştır. Muhafazakâr bir profil çizen Fatma Âliye’nin feminizm ideolojisini de İslamcı kimliği ile harmanladığını söyleyebiliriz. İslam’ı, kaynaklarından öğrenerek, birçok ilmi konuda kendisini geliştiren Fatma Âliye, İslam’ın yansıtıldığından daha farklı olduğunu dile getirerek, eserlerinde de İslami bakış açısını ortaya koymuştur. Bununla birlikte Cumhuriyet kadın profilinin temellerini atan Fatma Âliye, diğer kadın yazarlardan farklı olarak aileden aldığı eğitim, manevi destek, yabancı dil bilmesi, dönemini iyi analiz etmesi, “ilklerin kadını olması” ve devletine sadık bir kadın olmasıyla birlikte diğer kadın yazarların arasından kolaylıkla sıyrılarak öncü olmayı başarmıştır.
Fatma Âliye, who was one of the women in the late period Ottoman society, has marked her period with her knowledge and struggle, leading the way for the women writers following her. While being a woman writer was regarded as strange in the 19th century, Fatma Âliye took her first step in the world of writing with the help of Ahmet Cevdet Paşa and Ahmet Mithat Efendi. Having progressed cautious,Fatma Âliye was so disturbed by the position of women in the society that she put it in her novels supporting the view that women should not submit to the opposite gender. It can be said that Fatma Âliye, who has drawn a conservative profıle, blends her feminism ideology with her Islamic identity. Fatma Âliye, who learned Islam from its sources and developed herself in many subjects, expressed the Islamic point of view in her works by stating that Islam is very different from the way it is reflected. Besides, Fatma Âliye, who has laid the foundations of the Republican women’s profile, has succeeded in becoming a pioneer among other women writers with the help of the education and spiritual support she took from her family, her ability to speak foreing language, her good analysis of her era, being a woman as an initiator, and being a woman loyal to her country.
