The literature review method is used for this research which is conducted in a heuristic manner. The conclusion of the research, which intends to guide those physicians, hospitals, patients or entities in the healthcare industry in Turkey, is that all the parties involved with the healthcare industry are aware of the power of the social media and actively using it.
