Computer aided design courses have long been integrated into the curriculum because of the progress of design in digital platforms and the benefits it compromises. Schools of Design exploit BIM along with several computer aided design software. This study compares the fundamentals contributing to design ability of architecture undergraduate students at two universities in Turkey practising BIM-based courses which intend to help students recognize the rationale and the benefits of BIM and to raise awareness of using BIM-based software. The results of the practices by the end of week eight and models of final submissions at the end of the semester were both evaluated in relation to student work reports. The evaluation includes how BIM-based software in curriculum contribute to architectural project design.eninfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessBUILDING INFORMATION MODELLING IN ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION: CONTRIBUTION OF BIM IN DESIGN PROCESSArticle467445240259410
