Akabinde SCM için kullanılan ve sektörde bilinen iki referans modeli olan GSCF ve SCOR incelenmiş ve bu modellerin olumlu ve olumsuz yönleri irdelenmiştir. Bu iki modelin, SCM’yi işletmelerinde devreye almak isteyen veya devreye almış firmalar için bazı zorlukları olduğu kanısına varılmıştır. Bu zorlukları kolaylaştırıcı, bu modellerin ele almadığı konuları da ele alan, işletmelerin herhangi bir danışmanlık hizmetine ihtiyaç duymadan kendi kendilerine yönetebilecekleri bir model önerisi sunulmuştur. Bu model önerisi için de PMBOK kitabından ve yönetim felsefesinden esinlenilmiştir. İleri aşamalarda SCMBOK olarak tanımlayacağımız bir model oluşturmak hedeflenmiştir.In the first stage of this thesis study, SCM is discussed with the main lines. Afterward, GSCF and SCOR, two reference models used for SCM and known in the industry, were examined with their positive and negative aspects. It is believed that these two models have some difficulties for companies that want to put into use SCM in their businesses. A model proposal is presented to facilitate these challenges, address issues that these models do not address, and which businesses can manage on their own without the need for consultancy services. This model proposal was inspired by the PMBOK book and the management philosophy.
