Faculty of Architecture in Maltepe University has developed a new model with such an approach. The aim of the model called "Integrated Model in Design Education" is to create a design faculty education system which follows scientific, technological and artistic developments and transforms its existing structure to a holistic one. The aim of this paper is to explain the new model which has applied in the three departments of the Faculty of Architecture at Maltepe University. Why and how the model emerged and what are its basic principles are discussed.
