Companies that wish to use besuiness for doing good voluntarily apply for a B Corp certification and try to meet standars of social and environmental performance along with transparency and accountability. The main purpose of this study is to provide a preliminary look at the social and environmental impact these organizations create and to assess the differences among various types of impact B corps make across industries.
