This is illustrated in the Law of the Republic of lndonesia No.20 of 2003 on National Education System (SlSDlKNAS), that education is used to provide a constructive impact and generate the quality human resources. The human character changes are certainly depend on the educational method which is used. lndonesia has held environmental education method that aims to support character education program. This method is closely related to the cultivation of moral values to appreciate and take responsibility for nature. But the problem encountered over the years is due to the lack of success of this method, because most of educational processes are done by delivering the material and do not reproduce more practice in learning. By the method of literature, this study aims to find a solution in effective and efficient environmental education learning method...Eğitim toplumu dönüştürmek için oldukça etkili bir kavramdır. Bu durum, Endonezya Cumhuriyeti'nin 2003 tarihli, 20 numaralı, Milli Eğitim Sistemi kanununda örneklendirilmiştir; Eğitim, insan kaynaklarının niteliğini üretimini geliştirici bir etki sağlamak için kullanılmaktadır. İnsanın karakter değişimleri, kullanılan eğitsel yöntemlere tabii ki ilişkilidir. Endonezya, karakter eğitim programını destekleyen çevre eğitimi yöntemini yürütmektedir. Yöntem, ahlaki değerlerin yetiştirilmesi ve doğanın sorumluluğunu alma ve müteşekkir olmaya oldukça yakındır. Fakat, bu yöntemdeki başarı eksikliği nedeniyle, yıllar içinde bir problem ortaya çıkmıştır. Çünkü eğitsel süreçlerin çoğu, malzemeyi dağıtma ve öğrenmede uygulamayı yeniden üretmemek üzerinden gerçekleştirilmektedir.
