It may be seen as an isolated anomaly or associated with the absence of phalangeal bones(ectrodactyly), nail patella syndrome, trauma, impaired peripheral circulation, alopecia areata, pemphigus, idiopathic attrophy of the nails, bullous drug eruptions and periodic shedding, lichen planus, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa. In this communication, we present a patient with the absence of all fingernails and most of the toernails in conjunction with a literature review in the relevant subject.enCC0 1.0 Universalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessCongenital anonychiaArticle5522Q1551101
