Several basic results in this point of view are proven in this paper. Definition 1. Let F be a semi-Riemannian submersion from a Lorentzian (para) contact manifold (M, ?, ?, ?, gM) of dimension (2m+ 1) onto (N, gN ) be a Lorentzian manifold of dimension n. If for each p ? M the angle ?(X) between ?X and the space (ker F?)p is independent of choice of the nonzero vector X ? ?((ker F?) ? {?}), then F is called a pointwise slant submersion. We call the angle ? a slant function of the pointwise slant submersion on M. Theorem 1. Let F be a Lorentzian almost (para) contact manifold (M, ?, ?, ?, gM) onto (N, gN ) be a Lorentzian manifold.
