With the development of technology the variety of newspapers are increasing. In this variety, some newspapers are selling more than the others. It's possible to see the traces of socio-economic, cultural and political agenda while looking at the historical development of newspapers in Turkey. Especially opinion journalism displays the thoughts of political ideas. On the other hand, by the style of boulevard or magazine journalism, television and journalism entered into competition with each other. The effects of socio-cultural life, especially in terms of how content is used in the boulevard newspapers can be analyzed during periods such as Tan Newspaper. In these kinds of periods, the topics and themes are all about sexuality. Bestselling newspapers in Turkey have changed for the periods of social, political agenda. Over the last 7 years Posta is the best selling newspaper in Turkey; while Posta's style is not exactly the opinion journalism and not boulevard journalism. There are many different thoughts about Posta's success. It's important to know the critiques of a newspaper while analyzing how Posta is the best seller and the most readable newspaper. And also by analyzing the attentions of employees when they run a newspaper is important to understand the structure of Posta. Finally in this study, a brief summary will be given about history of journalism in Turkey.
