Traditional homes have limitations in controlling and monitoring security and safety. In addition, the power consumption and cost are also increased as results of less controlling lights and brightness. Therefore, Smart home is often referred to home automation facilitated residences or housing. The main objective of this project is to develop a home automated system connected to the internet in minimum possible cost in order to apply smart home system with less knowledge of electronics and programming. The project was built using SDLC methodology integrated with agile principles. The main outcome of this project is smart home model that can be applied in real home to increase security, safety and reduce cost of power consumption.
