Attitudes of the local teachers towards the native speakers

In this study, attitudes of local teachers towards native speakers was tried to be found out. As it is clear, many private schools employ native speakers of a language to teach a foreign language. But sometimes it can be because of business concerns as foreign teachers are accepted good public relation items and they help to promote the prestige of the schools. And sometimes these native speakers? income and bonuses can be much higher than the local teachers who do the same job and sometimes more. In this study we tried to find out what the local teachers think about their foreign counterparts and what their attitudes are towards native speaker who work in their schools. To understand these ten different schools were visited and 28 teachers were interviewed. They were asked 10 questions then finally their answers were compared. The result of this study can be used to create a better environment especially for local language teachers in work places where they will have no perception of injustice.
