    Fintech: the new digital financial alternative

    The way we see conventiona| finance today is being questioned by profound evolutions linked to digital disruption, forcing companies to reinvent their business models, simplify their operations. and provide new services to meet customers' expectations. To illustrate that phenomenon of deep mutation of the morphology of cIassical finance we will talk about a financial service sector that emerged in the 21st century recreating a new world supporting, displacing and disintermediating the old world of finance with technology; the Financial Technology or "FinTech". The number of companies offering "FinTech" services has been multiplied by four since 20!3 making "FinTech" a new, fast growing market. Firstly, we will present the concept of FinTech explaining their origin characteristics and relevance. Secondly, we will talk about the overall functioning of the FinTech including the services they provide and the tools they use. Finally. we will djscuss their challenges, limits and perspectives.
