    The importance of digital entrepreneurship in Kosovo

    Technology is increasingly playing a significant role in the betterment of our lives, especially in lhe development of economy. The rapidly emerging of digital economy emphasizes the advantages of technological resources in the economical environment. According to the Statistics Agency of Kosovo. 53.8% of people aged 15-24 are unemployed. hence this is a huge problem for the Kosovo's society to deal with, but at the same time it shows a great potential and a genuine willingness for Kosovo's youth to use technology as a tool to create startups and enhance the endeavors of self-employability. Consequently, the Digital Entrepreneurship wiIl play a decisive role in creating newjobs, facilitating the process of employment and empowering young entrepreneurs.

    Youth and entrepreneurship in Kosovo

    The purpose of the study is to assess the opportunities of the Kosovo’s youth in building an entrepreneurial culture in the wake of high levels of youth unemployment. According to the Statistics Agency of Kosovo, 53.8% of people aged 15-24 are unemployed, which is a huge problem for the Kosovo’s society to deal with, but at the same time it shows a great potential and a genuine willingness for Kosovo’s youth to seek for other recourses in order to create new jobs and decrease the level of unemployability. The study is based on an extensive collection of data about youth work using official websites, collecting surveys among students, young entrepreneurs, employed youth in private and public sector, unemployed youth etc. Consequently, the need of new jobs, the hope for a better future and the willingness of the youth to become entrepreneurs will play a decisive role in creating new jobs, facilitating the process of employment and empowering young entrepreneurs. According to all these data, I came to conclusion that no matter if they are employed or not, most of the youth in Kosovo dream about becoming and entrepreneur and working on their own. Of course, not all of them will be successful, but this will give the entrepreneur a new experience and will provide them with the skill set needed to find a new job.
