The state of cooperation in the field of educational tourism between Ukraine and Kazakhstan

Ukraine and Kazakhstan have a long history of partnership in many spheres – economics, culture, and politics. Countries have common interests in various fields. The main current directions were established by the Action Plan "Ukraine-Kazakhstan for 2015-2017" (the Road Map-5), which identified key vectors of bilateral cooperation. Therefore, the development of international cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan in the field of education (and, accordingly, the field of educational tourism) is today relevant. The article reveals the main aspects of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Kazakhstan in the field of providing educational services; gives a comparative assessment of the state of the national educational systems in two countries; substantiates the prospects of further development of educational tourism from Kazakhstan to Ukraine in the sector of higher education. The main indicators of the higher educational institutions' activities, the value and dynamics of the students number are presented, and the main problems that reduce the competitiveness of the national educational services for foreign entrants are highlighted.
