COVID-19 mental health assessment of the students of medical academy named after S.I. Georgievsky of Vernadsky: a survey based on e-questionnaire

Background: The COVID-19 has created a major impact on the students of any medical school will be the most important affected people compared to other students because the study of medicine relies on its practical knowledge. Aim: The aim of our study was to conduct a survey among our university students and to know about their mental health and analyze it by using a distant survey online by e-questionnaire. Methods: The methodology of study was an e-questionnaire from Google forms consisting of 17 questions. Simple random sampling method was used and analyzed using EXCEL. Conclusion: Our findings through this research prove the significant negative impact on the health of medical students of our university during this pandemic situation. We can summarize that 4th and 5th year students have disturbances with their mental health and with distance education due to their di culty in understanding the clinical situation and lack of practical knowledge. Some pro-active measures including counseling to students should be done to improve the mental health of students.
