Özet
The aim of this project is to create an image compression algorithm that utilizes shapes in order to reduce file size. This compression algorithm is then used to compress images that come from a camera and store them on a cloud it accesses through the internet. This shape based lossy compression algorithm searches an image and finds specific pixels with similar colors that form pre determined shapes. Rather than storing the pixels, coordinates, color and the id of the shape is stored. These shapes are then put together again when decompressing the image to form a mostly similar image back.
