dc.description.abstractJohan Huizinga “Homo Ludens” adlı kitabında insanoğlundaki değişimi ve oyunun yaşamdaki yerini ortaya koyuyordu. Huizinga, sosyallik ve birliktelik gerektiren kolektif yaşamda etkili bütün önemli biçimlerin – bilgelik, bilim, hukuk, ibadet, şiir, müzik, dans, mücadele ve savaş– ortaya çıkışında oyunun son derece etkin bir rol oynadığını söylüyordu. Viktor Pelevin ise Sovyetler’in Yeltsin Döneminden esinlenerek anlattığı ve Pi (?) Jenerasyonu olarak adlandırılan daha sonra da İngilizce’ye Homo Zapiens olarak çevrilen kitap ise bir dönemin (hatta Türkiye için 1990-2010 arası demek mümkün) TV’de sürekli zap yaparak geçen zamanı hatırlattı.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn his book Homo Ludens, Johan Huizinga reveals the change in human beings and the place of play in life. Huizinga argued that games played an extremely active role in the emergence of all necessary forms - wis dom, science, law, worship, poetry, music, dance, struggle, and war - that were effective in collective life – the forms that required sociability and togetherness. Victor Pelevin’s reminded us of a period of zapping between TV channels in his book inspired from the Soviets' Yeltsin period, named Pi (?) Generation, and translated into English as Homo Zapiens (this can also be said for Turkey between 1990 and 2010).en_US
