dc.description.abstractAs the world continues to succumb to the ill effects of the coronavirus, one of the major issues that has been and is brewing since the pandemic hit the world is of human rights laws. During the pandemic, nationwide lockdowns were imposed in various countries which enhanced the value of human rights policies and shifted the major focus of the countries towards it. The research highlights the shortcomings that many countries witnessed at the global level in light of the loopholes in the human right policies so that society as well as individuals decry the mistakes and learn from those to be better equipped if the world faces a pandemic again. The main focus of the research is India, which recently accounted for nearly half of the coronavirus cases worldwide. The study analyses the grey areas which lead to the human right violations pivoting around the migrant labour crisis, the reopening of the economy, public health mismanagement, educational crisis and xenophobia using quantifiable data. The fundamental cause that caused the majority of human rights violations could be associated with a lack of awareness by the people and the fiasco of the government to manage the disaster. The study further drills down to emphasise the roots of the issues that caused the human right violations. The research emphasises the significance of human rights in the need of hour. The pandemic brought the whole world on its knees but even in the most unpropitious situations, human rights should not be ever compromised.en_US
dc.description.abstractDünya, korona virüsün kötü etkilerine yenik düşmeye devam ederken, küresel salgının dünyayı sarsmasından bu yana ortaya çıkan ve gelişmekte olan en büyük sorunlardan biri insan hakları hukukudur. Küresel salgın sürecinde, çeşitli ülkelerde uygulanan ülke çapındaki karantinalar insan hakları politikalarının değerini artırdı ve ülkelerin ana odağını bu yöne taşıdı. Araştırma, toplum ve bireyler hataları anlasın ve dünya yeniden bir küresel salgın ile karsı karsıya kaldığı takdirde daha donanımlı bulunsun diye insan hakları politikalarındaki boşluklar ışığında pek çok ülkenin küresel düzeyde tanık olduğu eksikliklerin altını çiziyor. Araştırmanın ana odağı, son zamanlarda dünya çapındaki korona virüs vakalarının neredeyse yarısını oluşturan Hindistan'dır. Çalışma, ölçülebilir veriler ışığında göçmen isçi krizi etrafında dönen insan hakları ihlallerine, ekonominin yeniden açılmasına, halk sağlığının kötü yönetimine, eğitim krizine ve yabancı düşmanlığına yol açan tartışmaya açık alanları analiz ediyor. İnsan hakları ihlallerinin çoğuna sebep olan temel neden, halkın bilinçsizliği ve hükümetin felaketi yönetme başarısızlığı ile ilişkilendirilebilir. Çalışma, insan hakları ihlallerine neden olan sorunların kökenlerine dikkat çekmek için daha fazla detaya iniyor. Araştırma, bir saatlik ihtiyaç durumunda insan haklarının önemini vurguluyor. Salgın tüm dünyayı dize getirdi, ancak en acımasız durumlarda bile insan haklarından asla taviz verilmemelidir.en_US
