| dc.description.abstract | Bu makalede jandarmanın bazı ülkelerde ve Türkiye’de resmettiği görüntü ele alınmıştır. Jandarmaya bakışta tutumlar esasen oldukça soğuk sayılabilir. Bunun görevin tabiatıyla bağlantısı da yadsınamaz. Türkiye’de jandarmanın imajına tesir eden men unsurların esasen tek partili baskı dönemde oluşup yerleşmiş olduğu anlaşılmaktadır. Sonradan görüntü giderek iyiye gitmiş gözükmektedir. Kırsal alanda güvenliği sağlamakla yükümlü jandarmanın işi zordur; ancak sunduğu görüntü de görev etkinliği ile o derece alâkalı ve önemlidir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this article the picture presented by the gendarme in some countries and in Turkey is taken into consideration. One might as well regard the attitudes pertaining to the gendarme as rather cold; besides the connection of this with the very nature of his task can not be denied either. It can be inferred that in Turkey negative elements aecting the image of the gendarme came into being and got crystallized basically during the oppressive single party period. The image appears to have improved later on. The work of the gendarme, who is responsible for the upkeep of the public peace in rural areas, is indeed dicult; however, his reected image is accordingly important and related to his work eectiveness | en_US |
