dc.description.abstractThe COVID-19 pandemic has put major pressure on an already fragile democratic world order, and has created what might be called a technocratic moment. As people turned to their governments for assistance and relief from the pandemic the focus was put mainly on the executive branch, sidelining legislators in parliaments. The initial wave of the pandemic was met with calls for people and governments to listen to experts and scientists in the field which resulted in the creation of a more technocratic order that focused on data, without proper consideration for real people...en_US
dc.description.abstractCOVID-19 küresel salgını, zaten kırılgan olan demokratik dünya düzeni üzerinde büyük bir baskı ve teknokratik ihtiyaç denilebilecek bir an yarattı. İnsanlar küresel salgın için yardım ve kurtuluş için hükümetlerine döndükçe, yönetimin odak noktası parlamentoda bulunan milletvekillerinden çok direkt olarak yürütme organına çevrildi. Küresel salgının ilk dalgası, insanların ve hükümetlerin bu alandaki uzmanları ve bilim adamlarını dinleme çağrılarıyla karşılandı ve bu da somut olarak insanlar için uygun bir değerlendirme yapılmadan verilere odaklanan daha teknokratik bir düzenin oluşmasına yol açtı...en_US
