    Mobile robotic arm with real time video streaming / Gerçek zamanlı görüntü aktarımı yapan uzaktan robotik kol tasarımı

    Remote controlled mobile robotic arm with real time video streaming design project aims to design and test a robotic arm placed on a four-wheel drive mobile platform which streams real time video and controlled via Wi-Fi enabled devices. The design phase can be divided into three parts. Firstly, mechanical design consists of a wheeled car kit and four bar designed robotics arm with four degree of freedoms. Secondly, electronic systems are designed. Power electronics systems with switch mode power supplies and h-bridges are implemented. Logical electronics system which runs developed software are implemented by utilizing an Arduino Uno and a Raspberry Pi 3 B plus module. Lastly software systems are designed. A web server running in Raspberry Pi drives the camera, streams video and sends serial commands to Arduino Uno. Robotic arm on a mobile platform with real time video streaming capability via Wi-Fi communication can be very useful implementation in robotics area. Demanding tasks can be done by Raspberry Pi and low-level repetitive tasks can be done by Arduino Uno. Powerful Python scripting is used with Raspberry Pi and efficient C++ is used with Arduino Uno. This project is realized under 600 Turkish Lira and has 20 meters of operational range and 30 minutes of operational time. This robot can be used in scenarios that the operator can not have direct line of sight with the operational area and required distance is relatively low. On the other hand, this robot can be used in dangereous conditions which are creates a threat for human health. The realistic constraints and conditions that are used in this project are : Security, bomb defuse, natural disasters, nuclear material removal. In summary, this project aims to protect human health and provides a cleaner environment.
