NCD possesses threat toward nation's growth as its treatment costs lots of money and also decreasing people's productivity. Once a person got NCD, he cannot be healed so the only thing we can do is by prevent him from getting NCD.

    Indonesia, just like majority of nation, facing the same phenomenon in which the dominating disease is no longer infectious disease but non communicable disease (NCD). NCD possesses threat toward nation’s growth as its treatment costs lots of money and also decreasing people’s productivity. Once a person got NCD, he cannot be healed so the only thing we can do is by prevent him from getting NCD. Prevention of NCD can be done by altering the risk factors. One of its factors, genetic, cannot be modified, but we can alter the lifestyle to offset genetic effects. But this intervention should be done as early as possible to effectively reduce the NCD morbidity and mortality. The problem is to check genetic profile by sequencing the DNA of everyone in the Nation profile, although its less accurate, is by examining the family pedigree. Yet, it is uncommon in Indonesia to have pedigree. Actually, the information to create pedigree is already extracted by the doctor during anamnesis and it is written in the medical record, yet the medical record in Indonesia is not well integrated. This paper is constructed through literatures review, and brainstorming with expertise. i-Pedigree, stands for integrated Pedigree, is a system which extract information from medical record and combine it with information about personal information from civil record to create pedigree equipped with estimation of risk ratio of having a certain NCD. Using this system, the risk ratio can be obtained far before someone born, or even before his parent marry. i-Pedigree can be used as basic data for pre-marrital genetic counseling. A couple will be informed about their probability of having abnormal children, so they can be more prepared to face the risk they have for their decision to marry. By knowing the risk ratio of various NCDs, their family doctor and his team, which consist of multidisciplinary health professional, able to provide comprehensive education and treatment.
