The use of role playing in developing student's English proficiency

The big challenge and problem of students in learning English is when students must be able to know and understand in spoken and written English skill. This paper aimed to describe the use of role playing in English language teaching. Specifically, this study also aimed to determine the extent of implementation of the using role playing in developing all of the macro-skills of English, such as: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The qualitative method is used by the writer for this research. By role playing, there is no limited age of learners to study this teaching media, from the beginner level until advanced level.
