    Nowadays, our society is incontestably under the influence of platforms like YouTube and blogs. These digital platforms have been growing as well as their impact on people's daily lives. The list of the richest 'YouTubers" in the world was available for the first time in 2015, by "Forbes", a well-known and prestigious magazine. Professionals in this area are able to build a successful career, receiving money according to the views and visits to their accounts, what attract several brands that want to advertise themselves. Blogs and YouTube have a great influence on the purchasing decisions of thousands of people in the world. Everyone can find interesting pages, about all kinds of subjects: clothes, travel, makeup, books, movies, video games, "YouTubers" and bloggers move crowds of people who follow their lives, opinions, choices and daily routines that make the names of the owners of such platforms a wellknown and strong brand. ln successful accounts, YouTube channels holders (YouTubers) are able to collect millions of subscribers and views, blogs holders (bloggers) have millions of visits on their pages every day. This presentation will analyze these online trends, focusing how these platforms have become in a 'new industry", the "YouTubers" and bloggers as opinion makers, themes that are preferred on these platforms, these p|atforms as a profession and examples of success in the world.
