Yayın Evidence-based practices in nursing, nursing care in patients with cns tumors(Maltepe Üniversitesi, 2019) Talimdjioski, Mario; Kolevska, DanielaINTRODUCTION: Practice-based on evidence in medicine means conducting clinical research in order to enable proper treatment and care of patients, to determine the safety and efficacy of drugs, then to apply the appropriate preventive measures, to determine the choice of a proper diagnostic procedure, and one of the most important goals of this research is to achieve the best outcome of the patient. METHODOLOGY: The purpose of this research is to confirm the importance of how the care is done in these patients and how much it is necessary, how important is its role in providing meaningful information to the patient and his family, their communication with them and cooperation with colleagues. How important is her recognition of the early signs of increased intracranial pressure and what is the purpose of recognizing them? Also, how important is the observation of vital functions, the implementation of therapy and timely informing the physician about the health condition of the patient. RESULTS: The results of the study showed that proper nursing care and recognizing early signs might prevent further complications. The results also showed that health care in these patients should be performed in the bed according to the rules for care of a passive patient. Communication will be most effective if a nurse demonstrates warmth, empathy, sincere care for the patient, and has no relation to judgment. There is a series of recommendations for giving meaningful information or bad news that the nurse should practice. It is very important for the nurse to recognize the early signs of increased intracranial pressure such as confusion, changes in consciousness, ptosis, “lazy” reactions of pupils, reduced vision, diplopia, etc. in order to prevent or mitigate the late signs of increased intracranial pressure. In this category of patients, it is also important to observe vital functions intensively (pulse, breathing, temperature, blood pressure, electrocardiogram). It is necessary to carry out the therapy properly and to inform the doctor about the changes in the health condition of the patient in a timely manner. CONCLUSION: Medical staff should be constantly improving their knowledge in a practical and theoretical sense in accordance with the latest world criteria and standards in order to successful treatments and better patient outcomes. Longterm goals are not only to reduce morbidity and mortality, but also to improve quality of life and reduce costs and burden on health systems.Yayın Multi disciplinary approach to breast cancer(Maltepe Üniversitesi, 2018) Talimdjioski, MarioIntroduction: Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women, affecting 10% of female population. For reducing the incidence and mortality of breast cancer, proper prevention, timely diagnosis and good treatment are necessary, i.e. a multidisciplinary approach that includes a different level of health protection - team consisted of familial doctor, through radiation therapists to surgeons. The purpose of this research is to determine the most common risk factors of breast (regarding their gender, age and residential place) as well as looking at the effects of the multidisciplinary approach.Yayın Multidisciplinary approach to breast cancer(Maltepe Üniversitesi, 2018) Talimdjioski, Mario; Çakıl, Yaprak Dönmez; Öztopcu, Aslı; Öztürk, Şenay; Özünal, Zeynep GüneşBreast cancer is the most common form of cancer among women, affecting 10% of female population. They are the ones who do everything to save human lives. Attacking a health worker and a health care worker while performing a health activity is prohibited and punishable by law. Violence against healthcare professionals has become a chronic problem in our country that requires long-term therapy and resolution. But we need a long-term strategy aimed at government institutions, us, and especially patients because healthcare professionals are with patients, not against them. Methodology: The purpose of this research is to determine the situations that most commonly cause dissatisfaction in patients resulting in anger and violence against medical staff, then what preventive measures would be taken to reduce violence, that is, what solutions are needed to solve the problem on both sides, what do the citizens of North Macedonia think about the attitude of the health workers, and which health workers are most vulnerable to violence. Discussion: According to the citizens of North Macedonia, the main reasons for this behaviour are corruption, long wait, and the reception of patients by mixed order. Patients dissatisfaction is also caused by other factors such as unprofessional behaviour by healthcare professionals, often inaccessible medical treatment or therapy, all of which leads to despair, shock, some even depression. Preventive measures are needed to enable violence to be reduced. Educational content is needed for both patients and medical staff. Patients need to understand that medicine is not all-powerful. At the same time, healthcare workers must be reminded of the Code of Ethics, the Hippocratic Oath, and must not express their anxieties, frustrations and tiredness to patients. Patients must trust staff, and healthcare professionals understand that they are there for the sake of patients. The most exposed to physical and verbal violence are nurses and counter workers because when the patient arrives, the first contact is with them. Conclusion: We need a functioning system, a system that will provide everything to the patient, but which will expect from him due respect and attitude towards health care workers because violence is not the solution and with violence, we cannot achieve positive changes. We’re here for the patients, but still, we’re the patients.
