dc.description.abstractAmaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı barsak temizliği derecesi ile eğitim seviyesi arasındaki ilişkiyi gözlemlemektir. Materyal ve Metodlar: Aynı endoskopi hemşiresi tarafından detaylı olarak bilgilendirilen, aynı gastroenteroloji doktoru tarafından kolonoskopik işlemleri yapılan hastalar, okur-yazar, ilkokul mezunu ve okul eğitimi olmayan kişiler düşük eğitim grubu, bu grup dışındakiler yüksek eğitim grubu olarak değerlendirilerek bu durumla kolon temizlikleri arasındaki ilişki değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Kolonoskopi işlemi yapılan 78 hasta çalışmaya alındı. Tüm hastalar değerlendirildiğinde 51 hasta eğitim seviyesi düşük grupta, 27 hasta ise eğitim seviyesi yüksek gruptaydı. Eğitim seviyesi yüksek grupta ortalama yaş 51.8 (20-83), eğitim seviyesi yüksek grupta ortalama yaş 50.9 (24-78) ve p=NS idi. Hastaların 43’ü erkek 35’i kadındı. Eğitim seviyesi düşük ve eğitim seviyesi yüksek grup arasında cinsiyet dağılımı açısından fark yoktu (p=0.660). Eğitim seviyesi düşük ve eğitim seviyesi yüksek grup arasında yaş dağılımı açısından fark yoktu (p=0.380). Sonuç: Çalışmamızdan yola çıkarak kolonoskopi öncesi hastaya yeterli zaman ayrılırsa eğitim seviyesinden ilişkisiz olarak başarı artar. en_US
dc.description.abstractAim: The aim of this study is to observe the relationship between bowel cleaning and educational level. Materials and Methods: Patients who were informed in detail by the same endoscopy nurse and who underwent colonoscopy procedures by the same gastroenterology doctor included to the study. Literate, primary school graduates and non-educated individuals were classified as low education group and those outside this group were classified as high education group. The relationship between educational level and degree of colon cleansing was evaluated. Results: 78 patients who underwent colonoscopy included in the study. When all the patients were evaluated, 51 patients were in low education level and 27 patients were in high education level. Mean age was 51.8 in the low education group, 50.9 in the high education group ( p = NS). Forty three patients were male and thirty five patients were female. There was no difference in terms of gender distribution between low and high education groups (p = 0.660). There was no difference in age distribution between low and high education groups (p = 0.380). Conclusion: Based on our study, if sufficient time is allocated to the patient before colonoscopy, success is increased irrelevant from the level of education.en_US
