| dc.description.abstract | New technological developments are increasingly changing today's modern life. New communication technology is being integrated into our life through several ways such as at work while producing goods and services, at home while resting or doing housework, or on the road while driving or on the streets while walking... Along with its vast usage and quantitative impact, it has a qualitative influence through facilitating our lives. However, these technologies not only have positive contributions but also have negative effects as well. Particularly this impact can be seen on young generation enormously. Because new media penetrated into the prevalent parts of our life like schools, coffee houses, libraries, homes etc.. Our life style is shaped by the developments in new communicational technology. ln comparison with the past, students spend less time to reach knowledge via lnternet yet mostly unverified information is widespread. Cell phone, social media and online video games cause technological addictions. Excessive and wrong use of technology destroys the daily life of youth more than any time else. ln order to understand this impact via the use of new media by young people, we conducted a research among 2nd year students of the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Giresun University Tirebolu Faculty of Communication. ln this presentation the findings of this research that high|ights new media and its impact over our lives will be shared. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Yeni teknolojik gelişmeler giderek artan bir şekilde günümüz modern yaşamını değiştirmektedir. Yeni iletişim teknolojileri, işyerinde ürün ve hizmetleri üretirken. evde dinlenir ya da ev işi yaparken, yolda araba kullanırken ya da sokaklarda yürürken yaşamımıza farklı şekillerde bütünleşmiş haldedir. Geniş bir alanda kullanımı ve niceleyici etkisinin yanı sıra yaşamımızı kolaylaştırmak şeklinde niteleyici bir etkiye de sahiptir. Bununla birlikte, bu teknolojiler yalnızca olumlu katkılara değil olumsuz etkilere de sahiptir. Bu etki ozellikle de genç kuşakta kendisini göstermektedir. Yeni medya yaşamımızın okullar, kaFeteryalar, kutüphaneler, evler gibi onemli parçalarına etkide bulunuyor olduğu için, yaşam tarzımız yeni iletişim teknolojilerinden eLkılenmektedır, 0ğrencıler, birçoğu güvenilir olsa da bilgiye ulaşma sürecinde eskiye oranla çok daha az zaman harcamaktadır, Cep telefonları, sosyal medya ve çevrimiçi video oyunları teknolojik bağımlılığa yol açmaktadır. Teknolojinin fazla ve yanlış biçimde kullanılması. gençlerin günlük yaşamlarını başka hiçbir zamanda olmadığı kadar olumsuz etkilemektedir. Sosyal medyanın gençler üzerindeki etkisini anlayabilmek için Giresun Üniversitesi TireboIu İletişim Fakültesi Halkla İlişkiler ve Tanıtım Bolumu ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinin katıldığı bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu sunumda, yeni medya kullanımı ve onun yaşamlarımızdaki etkisini gösteren bu araştırmanın sonuçları paylaşılacaktır. | en_US |
