dc.description.abstract | The aim of the study is the to increase the level of students' trust in teachers in the context of digitalization of the university’s academic environment. The main change associated with the digital transformation of higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic was the transition of most Russian and foreign universities to distance learning. This issue was not previously considered in detail in the scientific literature, despite the presence of a large number of studies aimed at identifying the determinants of trust in higher education. In this paper, 17 organizational aspects of distance learning, covering the material, social, cultural, psychological and pedagogical conditions for the successful functioning of the university’s academic environment were considered. A sociological survey was chosen as the main research method. 178 undergraduate students of the Financial University participated in the survey. Using Pearson's correlation analysis, we have identified organizational aspects of distance learning most closely correlated with the level of trust in the “student-teacher” dyad and assessed the correlation of students’ psychological problems with the level of their trust in teachers. As a result, the organizational aspects of distance learning the improvement of which can contribute to increasing the level of trust in the “student-teacher” dyad and the sustainable development of the university’s digital academic environment were identified. | en_US |
