dc.description.abstractİşletmeler stratejik planlama sürecinde çevresel faktörlere bakarak içinde bulundukları çevreye adapte olmakta ve çevre analizinden elde edilen uyaranlara anlamlı reaksiyonlar vermeye çalışmaktadırlar. Ekonomik çevrede meydana gelen veya gelebilecek değişimleri gözlemlemek de bu konuda hayati önem taşımaktadır. İşletmeler bu maksatla birçok ekonomik göstergeyi takip etmekte ve bunlardan faydalanarak gelecek projeksiyonları hazırlamaktadırlar. Bu çalışmanın amacı ise işletmeler tarafından takip edilen enflasyon oranı, döviz kuru ve tüketici güven endeksi gibi geleneksel ekonomik göstergelerin dışında kalan farklı ekonomik göstergelerin de olup olmadığını araştırmak ve varsa bu göstergelerin işletmelerin stratejik planlama sürecine de dahil edilmesiyle işletme performansının artmasına katkı sağlamaktır. Bu maksatla hem geleneksel hem de bunların dışında kalan ekonomik göstergelerden oluşan 23 bağımsız değişkenin, bağımlı değişken olan işletme performansına etkisi çoklu doğrusal regresyon analiziyle incelenmiştir. Borsa İstanbul Sınai Endeksi’nde hisseleri işlem gören 106 firmanın üzerinde yapılan araştırmaya ilişkin veriler 2010-2019 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır. Sonuçta hem geleneksel ekonomik göstergelerin hem de bunların dışında kalan bazı göstergelerin işletme performansıyla istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişkisi olduğu görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn the strategic planning process, businesses adapt to the environment they are operating in by looking at environmental factors and try to give meaningful reactions to the warnings coming from the environment. Observing the changes that occur or may occur in the economic environment is also of vital importance in this regard. For this purpose, businesses follow many economic indicators and prepare future projections by making use of them. The aim of this study is to investigate whether there are different economic indicators other than traditional economic indicators such as inflation rate, exchange rate and consumer confidence index followed by businesses and to contribute to the increase of business performance by including these indicators in the strategic planning process, if any. For this purpose, the effect of 23 independent variables, consisting of both traditional and non-traditional economic indicators, on business performance, which is the dependent variable, was examined by multiple linear regression analysis. The data on the research conducted on 106 companies whose shares are traded in the Borsa Istanbul Industry Index cover the years 2010-2019. As a result, it has been seen that both traditional economic indicators and some other indicators have a statistically significant relationship with business performance.en_US
