dc.description.abstractNut exports make an important contribution to the Turkish economy. However, companies that export nuts can face risks. One of the most important risks that nut exporters may face in foreign trade is the risk of resolving possible conflict between exporters and importers. Arbitration is the most important dispute settlement method utilized in recent years as a dispute settlement method in foreign trade. The selection of arbitration institution and well drafted arbitration agreement are essential issues in arbitration. Thus, the advantages of arbitration in the field of foreign trade will be briefly explained in this study. Later, in this study, the arbitration rules of the Istanbul Arbitration Center (ISTAC) and The Nut Association (TNA), will be evaluated in detail for resolving the disputes arising from nut exports.en_US
