| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmanın amacı engelli kardeşe sahip çocuk ve ergenlerin kardeşlerine yönelik tutumları ile ebeveynlerinden algıladıkları kabul-red arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya İstanbul il merkezinde bulunan Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı bir iş okulu, iki özel alt sınıf ve beş rehabilitasyon merkezine devam eden, yetmiş engelli çocuğun, 12-18 yaş arasında normal gelişim gösteren kardeşleri ve bu çocukların ebeveynleri dahil edilmiştir. İlişkisel tarama yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan araştırmada engelli çocuğa sahip olan ebeveynlere ve engelli çocuğun kardeşlerine yönelik hazırlanmış demografik bilgi formu, Kardeşlerin tutumlarını ölçmek için Küçüker (1997) tarafından geliştirilmiş "Engelli kardeşe yönelik tutum ölçeği ve ebeveynlerin kabul ve red düzeylerini ölçmeye yönelik olarak Rohner (2002) tarafından geliştirilen, Ebeveyn Kabul-Red Ölçeği uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan ölçeklerle çocuk ve ergenlerin kardeşine yönelik tutumları ile ebeveynlerinden algıladıkları kabul-red arasındaki ilişkinin, kardeşin cinsiyet, yaş, engel türü, ebeveynlerin yaşı, eğitim düzeyi ve sosyo ekonomik seviyeye göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. İstatiksel verilerin çözümlenmesi ve yorumlanması için, Korelasyon Analizi ve t-Testi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesi ve yorumlanmasında, 0,01 ve 0,05 anlamlılık düzeyi aranmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, 12-18 yaş arasındaki normal gelişim gösteren çocukların engelli kardeşlerine yönelik tutumlarının yaşa, cinsiyete, engel durumuna göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği saptanmıştır. Ebeveynin engelli çocuğu kabul/reddinin, çocuğunun yaşına, cinsiyetine, babanın eğitim düzeyine ve ailenin gelir durumuna göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği, buna karşın annenin eğitim düzeyine ve babanın çocuğunun engel durumuna göre istatiksel olarak anlamlı fark yarattığı bulunmuştur. Çocuk ve ergenlerin engelli kardeşe yönelik tutumu ile ebeveyn kabul reddi arasında pozitif yönlü ve orta kuvvetli ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır. Buna göre ebeveynlerinin engelli çocuğa yönelik kabul ve reddetme tutumu arttıkça sağlıklı çocuğun engelli kardeşine ilişkin tutumu da bu yönde şekillenmektedir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the attitude of the child and the adolescents towards their siblings who are disabled and the acceptance-rejection they perceived from their parents. A business school which is located in the city center of Istanbul, two special sub-class and the siblings of seventy disabled children going to five rehabilitation centers between 12-18 years old with normal development and this childrens' parents have been included. In the study which is accomplished by using relational screening method, the demographic questionnaire prepared for the parents with disabled children and the siblings of the handicapped child and the scale developed by Küçüker (1997) to measure the attitude towards the disabled sibling and the parental acceptance -rejection scale devopled by Rohner (2002) to measure the level of acceptance and rejection of the parents have been applied. With the applied scales, it has been examined whether attitudes of children and teenagers to their siblings and the relationship between acceptance-rejection which they perceive from their parents change according to the sibling's gender, age, type of disability and parents' ages, education level and socio-economic level. Correlation analysis and t-test have been used to analyse and construe with the statistical data. While analysing and commenting on the data, 0,01and 0,05 the level of significance has been researched. As a result of the research, it has been determined that attitudes of the children between 12-18 who have experienced a normal growing towards their disabled siblings do not change to a great extent according to age, gender and disability status. It has been concluded that there is no statistically significant change in parents' acceptance or rejection of disabled children with such factors as child's age, gender, father's education level and family's financial status. On the other hand, it has been found that it makes a difference depending on mother's level of education and the child's situation of handicap. It has been determined that there is a positive and midlevel relationship between the children and teenagers' attitudes towards their disabled siblings and parents' acceptance/rejection. According to this, as parents' approach of acception and rejection to disable child increases, healthy child's attitude towards his disable sibling is shaped in this way. | en_US |
