dc.description.abstractIrkçılık ayırımcılık türlerinden biridir. İnsan haklarını korumanın önündeki en büyük engellerden biri olan ırkçılık, insanın değerini ya da insan onurunu hiçe saydığı için bir problemdir. Bu tezin amacı; ırkçılığı konu edinen edebi eserlerin insanın değeri ya da onuru kavramlarına dikkat çekerek insan haklarına olan katkısını göstermektir. Araştırmanın önemi; geçmişte yaşanmış, bugün yaşanan ya da gelecekte yaşanabilecek ırkçılığa ilişkin problemleri ortaya koyup insan hakları bağlamında etik temelli çözümler sunması ve bu konuda bir bilinç oluşmasına katkı sağlamasıdır. Bu tezin iddiası ise Türkü Söylüyor Otlar ile Bülbülü Öldürmek romanlarının; insan haklarının tanınması, korunması ve geliştirilmesi sürecinde oluşturduğu bilinç ile insan haklarına yaptıkları katkının önemli olduğudur.en_US
dc.description.abstractRacism is one of the discrimination types. Racism which is one of the greatest obstacles of protecting the human rights, is a problem as it disregards human value and human dignity. The aim of this thesis is to show the contribution of literary works which take racism as a subject to the human rights taking attention to the concepts of human value or dignity. The importance of this thesis is to offer ethically based solutions in the context of human rights and to contribute to the consciousness about this uncovering the problems related with racism of the past, today and the future. The claim of this thesis is that the contribution of the novels; The Grass Is Singing and To Kill A Mockingbird to the human rights with the consciousness they have made in the process of recognition, preservation and the development of the human rights is important.en_US
