dc.description.abstractLet R be a multiplication commutative ring with nonzero identity and M be a unitary multiplication R-module. A characterization of certain prime submodules of M will be presented. Also we show that if R is Noetherian and M is ¯nitely generated, then M is Cohen-Macaulay R-module. As a consequence any multiplication Noetherian ring is Cohen-Macaulay.en_US
