Abstract
One of the most important forms of tourism that provides a long term and sustainable development is ecotourism. To be considered as a successful form of tourism, ecotourism needs to promote sustainable development relying on activities, which create opportunities for the locals and tourism operators to increase their income and improve their lifestyle.
Ekoturizm uzun vadeli ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma sağlayan en önemli turizm çeşitlerinden birisidir. Ekoturizmi turizmin başarılı bir biçimi olarak düşünebilmek için yerel halkın ve turizm işletmecilerinin gelirlerini artırma ve yaşam tarzlarını iyileştirme fırsatları yaratan faaliyetlere dayanan sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı teşvik etmesi gerekmektedir.
Ekoturizm uzun vadeli ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma sağlayan en önemli turizm çeşitlerinden birisidir. Ekoturizmi turizmin başarılı bir biçimi olarak düşünebilmek için yerel halkın ve turizm işletmecilerinin gelirlerini artırma ve yaşam tarzlarını iyileştirme fırsatları yaratan faaliyetlere dayanan sürdürülebilir kalkınmayı teşvik etmesi gerekmektedir.
