dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a general form of numerical approximate solution of two dimensional linear Volterra integral equations of the second kind, which here in later TDLVIE, is discussed. It is formulated for using the operational Tau method with standard base to convert the integral part of given integral equation, to its matrix representation. A brief introduction of developments of the Tau method is given in section 1, existence and uniqueness of solution of TDLVIE is discussed in section 2, converting TDLVIE to a system of linear algebraic equations has been done in section 3 and in section 4 some numerical examples are given to demonstrate efficiency and accuracy of the presented method.en_US
