dc.description.abstractMotivasyon, insanların başarılarını artıran faktörlerin başında gelmektedir. Farklı yaş gruplarında ilkokula başlayan 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin benlik saygıları ile akademik motivasyonları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek çalışmanın amacı olarak belirlenmiştir. 200 öğrencinin katılımının sağlandığı araştırma sonuçlarına göre benlik saygısı akademik motivasyonu etkilemekte, benlik saygısı düzeyi arttıkça akademik motivasyon düzeyi artmaktadır. İstanbul ili Maltepe ilçesinde öğrenim gören 200 öğrencinin ve ebeveynlerinin verdiği yanıtlar bu çalışmanın sınırlıklarını meydana getirmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractOne of the main factors that increase the success of people is motivation. Main goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between self-esteem and academic motivation of 5th grade students who started primary school in different age groups. With the participation of 200 students, result of the study shows that self-esteem influences academic motivation and academic motivation increases as self-esteem level increases. The response of the 200 students and their parents who were studying in Maltepe district of İstanbul province is the limitations of this study.en_US
