| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada rekabetin, insan yaşamının önemli bir unsuru haline getirilmesinin insanın değeri açısından yol açtığı sorunlar ele alınmaktadır. Serbest piyasa ekonomisinin bütün insan yaşamını etkilediği günümüzde rekabet, insan yaşamının ayrılmaz bir unsuru olarak kabul edilmektedir. Oysa Eskiçağdaki insan anlayışına baktığımızda “rekabet etmek zorunda olan insan” anlayışının olmadığı görülebilir. Rekabetin tür olarak insana özgü bir özellik olduğu düşüncesi moderniteyle birlikte ortaya çıkmıştır. Rekabetin, yani bir konudabir başkasına karşı mücadele etmenin insan yaşamının ayrılmaz bir unsuru olduğu fikri, temellerini hâkim ekonomik sistem haline gelen piyasa kapitalizminde bulur. Ne var ki insanda bulunması gereken bir özellik olarak ortaya konan rekabet, insanı araçsallaştırmakta ve “insanın değeri”nin çiğnenmesine neden olmaktadır. Toplamda beş bölümden oluşan bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde konuya genel bir giriş yapılmakta, ikinci bölümünde Eskiçağdaki insan anlayışı ve rekabetin bu insan anlayışındaki yeri, üçüncü bölümünde Eskiçağdaki insan anlayışının nasıl bir değişikliğe uğradığı ve rekabetçi insan anlayışının nasıl ortaya çıktığı, dördüncü bölümünde rekabetçi insan anlayışının nasıl insanın değerinin çiğnenmesine neden olduğu ele alınmakta, çalışmanın sonuç bölümünde de genel bir değerlendirme yapılmaktadır. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In this study, problems caused by making competition an important element of human life will be discussed from the perspective of the value of the human being. Today, when the free market economy influences all areas of human life, competition is accepted as an inherent element of human life. However, when we look at the conception of the human being in the Antiquity, it can be seen that there is no such a conception of the human being, as “a being who necessarily competes”. The understanding that competition is a specific characteristic of human nature emerged in Modernity. The view that competition, that is, struggling against one another on the same issue, is an element inherent to human life, derived from market capitalism which has become the dominant economic system all over the world. However, competition, which is put forward as a specific characteristic of the human being, instrumentalizes human beings as well as it violates “the value of the human being”. In the first part of the study, which consists of five parts, a general introduction to the subject will be made, in the second part, the conception of the human being and the place of the competition in this conception of human being in the Antiquity will be described, in the third part will be put forward how the conception of the human being of the Antiquity changed and how the conception of competitive human being emerged, while in the fourth part will be discussed how the conception of the competitive human being gives demage to the value of the human being. In the conclusion part, a general evaluation of the subject will be made. | en_US |
