dc.description.abstractDuring my presentation, my main aim will be to spotlight the viewpoint of a young European concerning the challenges that arise from the globalization both for the European Union and for Turkey. l will also focus on the situation of his accession process from the European point of view by giving my humble opinion, which l think could be interesting for the audience. The EU and Turkey started a negotiating process in a formal way when Turkey emitted its membership request in 1987. After this application. Turkey was declared an applicant country in 1999, even though negotiations did not start until 2005 and have been in deadlock due to the reluctance of France and the dispute with Cyprus among other things. Turkey and the EU seem condemned to provide solutions to problems that involve both sides such as the refugee crisis, which devastates more countries than the ones mentioned. ln addition, l will try to give an overview about the Economic and Monetary Union (UEM) and the benefits and harms that would pose for each part. From a more global perspective, l will address the common response that should be given by both parts to an increasingly globalized terrorism that blights all countries. The EU considers of vital importance the border control on the part of Turkey. Finally, l would like to deal with the agreements both institutions are currently negotiating, like opening up European borders for Turkish people, which will allow them to cross the border and circulate in the UE work without the need of a visa. ln conclusion, l will tackle these subjects from a point the point of view of globalization and financial matters while trying to provide my knowledge in the economic field.en_US
dc.description.abstractSunumum boyunca Avrupalı bir gencin gözünden Türkiye ve Avrupa 8irliği adına. küreselleşmeden doğan zorlukları aktarmaya çalışacağım. Aynı zamanda katılım süreci ile ilgili enteresan olduğunu düşündüğüm naçizane görüşüm üzerine yoğunlaşacağım, Türkiye 1987'de Avrupa Birliği'ne başvurduğunda, Avrupa Birliği ve Türkiye arasındaki görüşmeler resmi olarak başladı. Bu başvurunun ardından Türkiye 1999'da aday ülke konumuna girmesine rağmen 2005'e kadar görüşmeler başlamadı ve Fransa'nın direnci, Kıbrıs münakaşaları nedenleriyle çıkmaza girdi. Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği, kendilerinin de içinde bulunduğu, bahsedilen ülkeleri ve daha nicesini harap eden mülteci krizlerini çözmek adına sorumluydular. Buna ilaveten, Ekonomik ve Parasal Birlik 'in (EMU) Türkiye ve Avrupa birliği açısından faydaları ve zararları ile ilgili genel bir bilgi vermeye çalışacağım. Daha küresel bir bakış açısıyla, Türkiye ve Avrupa Birliği tarafından. giderek küreselleşen terörizm için verilmesi gereken ortak tepkiyi anlatacağım. Avrupa Birliği, Türkiye'nin sınır kontrolünün hayati önemini göz önünde bulundurur. Son olarak, Avrupa sınırlarının vizesiz bir şekilde Türk uyruklu vatandaşların geçişine açılması gibi her iki kurumun da hala tartıştığı anlaşmaları çözümlemeye çalışacağım. Sonuç olarak ekonomik alandaki bilgimi sunmaya çalışırken, bu konuları a'dan z'ye küresel görüş açısı ve finansal konular ile ele alacağımen_US
