Abstract
Devlet Üniversiteleri ve Fakülteleri Sıralaması [DÜS] ilk olarak 2016 yılında gerçekleştirilmiş olup araştırma 2017 ve 2018 yıllarında tekrarlanmıştır. DÜS’un temel amacı, devlet üniversitelerini ve fakültelerini akademik teşvik puanları temelinde sıralayarak üniversite yönetimlerine farklı bir veri kaynağı sağlamaktır. DÜS Türkiye’deki devlet üniversite ve fakültelerini akademik teşvik performanslarına göre sıralamaktadır. Sıralamasında, üniversitelerin akademik teşvik komisyonları tarafından onaylanan puanlar ile YÖK tarafından yayınlanan öğretim üyesi verileri kullanılmıştır. Sonuçlar; Fakülte türlerinin puanlarının ortalamaları sıralandığında en yüksek puan ortalamasına sahip ilk üç fakülte türü; (i) Su Ürünleri, (ii) Eczacılık ve (iii) Orman Fakültelerine aittir. Devlet üniversiteleri akademik teşvik sistemi temelinde sıralandığında ilk beş üniversitesi; (i) İzmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsü, (ii) İskenderun Teknik Üniversitesi, (iii) Ege Üniversitesi, (iv) Hacettepe Üniversitesi ve (v) Akdeniz Üniversitesi’dir.
State University Rankings (SUR) was first carried out in 2016 and the research was repeated in 2017 and 2018. The main purpose of SUR is to provide a different source of data to the university administrations by ranking state universities and faculties based on their academic incentive scores. SUR ranks state universites and faculties in Turkey according to their performance in academic incentive. In the ranking process, scores that are approved by universities’ academic incentive commissions and data on the number of faculty members published by CoHE. Results; When ranking the average scores of the faculty types, the first three faculty types with the highest average score are; (i) Faculty of Fisheries/ Aquaculture, (ii) Faculty of Pharmacy and (iii) Faculty of Forestry. When the state universities are listed on the basis of the academic incentive system, the first five universities are; (i) İzmir Institute of Technology, (ii) İskenderun Technical University, (iii) Ege University, (iv) Hacettepe University and (v) Akdeniz University.
