dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın amacı lojistik performansın, küresel ticareti kolaylaştırmaya etkisi üzerine ekonomik özgürlüklerin aracılık rolünün etkisini tespit etmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Dünya Bankası tarafından yayınlanan lojistik performans endeksi, Heritage Vakfı tarafından yayınlanan ekonomik özgürlük endeksi ve Dünya Ekonomik Forumu tarafından yayınlanan küresel ticareti kolaylaştırma endeksi raporları yıllar bazında incelemiş ve 103 ülkeye ait ortak veriler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda, değişkenler arasında öncelikle korelasyon analizi, ardından doğrusal regresyon analizi ve son olarak ta hiyerarşik regresyon analizi yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Ayrıca aracılık analizi için hem Sobel testi hem de bootstrap metodu uygulanarak aracılık analizi sonuçları test edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde lojistik performans endeksinin ekonomik özgürlük endeksi üzerine, ekonomik özgürlük endeksinin küresel ticareti kolaylaştırma endeksi üzerine, lojistik performans endeksinin, küresel ticareti kolaylaştırma üzerine pozitif yönde etki ettiği görülmektedir. Aracılık modelinin test edilmesi neticesinde ise lojistik performans endeksinin küresel ticareti kolaylaştırmaya etkisi üzerine ekonomik özgürlük endeksinin kısmi aracılık etkisinin bulunduğu görülmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to determine the effect of the mediation role of economic freedoms on the impact of logistics performance on facilitating global trade. For this aim, the logistic performance index published by the World Bank, the economic freedom index published by Heritage Foundation and the global enabling trade index published by the World Economic Forum were analyzed on a yearly basis and common data from 103 countries were obtained. According to the data obtained, firstly, correlation analysis, then linear regression analysis and finally hierarchical regression analysis were used. In addition, Sobel test and bootstrap method were used for mediation analysis, then the results of mediation analysis were tested. As a result of the findings, it is seen that logistics performance index has a positive effect on economic freedom index, economic freedom index has a positive effect on global enabling trade index and logistics performance index has a positive effect on global enabling trade index. As a result of testing the mediation model, it is seen that economic freedom index has partial mediation effect on the effect of logistic performance index on global enabling trade index.en_US
