dc.description.abstractKonu: Anne ve babalar, çocukları için destek ve güven ortamı sunarak, çocukların bakımını ve büyümelerini sağlayan bireylerdir. Bu bireylerin kaybı çocuğun hayatını pek çok açıdan etkileyebilir. Özellikle deprem gibi travmatik bir deneyimle bu kaybın yaşanması ise çocuğun yaşayacağı olumsuz etkiyi artırabilir. Bu noktadan hareketle depremde ebeveyn kaybı yaşayan çocukların bakım verenlerinin yaşadığı zorlukları anlamak önem arz etmektedir. Amaç ve Kapsam: Araştırmada depremde ebeveyn kaybı yaşayan çocuklara bakım veren bireylerin karşılaştığı zorlukları ve bu zorluklara yönelik çözüm yollarını belirlemek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu araştırma ile konunun uzmanlarının da önerilerini dikkate alarak bakım verenlerin yaşadığı zorlukların daha görünür olmasına katkı sağlanması hedeflenmiştir. Yöntem: Bu çalışma, nitel araştırma tekniklerinden fenomenolojik yaklaşıma göre tasarlanmıştır. Fenomonolojik yaklaşım farkında olduğumuz fakat derinlemesine ve ayrıntılı bir anlayışa sahip olmadığımız olgulara odaklanmayı sağlar. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Hatay ilinde meydana gelen depremde ebeveyn kaybı yaşamış çocuklara bakım veren kişiler oluşturmaktadır. Bulgular: Yapılan analizler sonucunda çeşitli alt kodlarla desteklenen altı ana tema belirlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda bakım veren kişilerin psikolojik ve duygusal zorluk, ekonomik zorluk, tek ebeveyn olmanın yükü ve çocuğun maddi ve manevi gereksinimlerini karşılamada sorunlar yaşadığı ortaya konmuştur. Buna ek olarak sosyal boyutta zorluklar yaşadıkları ve gelecek kaygısı hislerinin yoğun olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda depremde ebeveyn kaybı yaşayan çocuklara bakım veren kişilerin çok yönlü psikososyal sorunlar yaşadığı görülmüştür. Bu nedenle afet sonrası sosyal hizmet müdahalelerinin bakım verenlerin ihtiyaçlarına odaklanarak geliştirilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

From this perspective, it is crucial to comprehend the challenges confronting the caregivers of children who have lost their parents in the earthquake. Aim and Scope: The purpose of this study is to examine the difficulties experienced by caregivers of children who lost their parents in the earthquake and to identify potential solutions to these difficulties. The objective of this study is to ascertain the challenges faced by those who care for children who have lost their parents in the earthquake, and to identify potential solutions to these challenges. The objective of this research is to enhance the visibility of the difficulties experienced by caregivers by incorporating the insights of experts and their recommendations. Methods: The methodology employed in this study is as follows: This study was designed in accordance with the phenomenological approach, which represents one of the qualitative research techniques. The phenomenological approach enables the researcher to focus on phenomena that are already known to the subject but not fully understood.esults: The findings of the study are as follows: The analysis yielded six main themes, which were supported by various sub-codes. The research revealed that caregivers experienced a range of difficulties, including psychological and emotional challenges, economic difficulties, the burden of being a single parent, and difficulties in meeting the material and emotional needs of the child. Additionally, it was determined that they encountered difficulties in the social dimension and reported intense feelings of future anxiety. Conclusion: The research found that caregivers of children who lost their parents in the earthquake experienced multidimensional psychosocial issues. Therefore, it was concluded that post-disaster social work interventions should be developed with a focus on the needs of the caregivers.
