dc.description.abstractNurses play significant roles in hospitals, clinics and private practices and are experts within healthcare, but the first field in nursing is providing care to the patients in the healthcare environment. Inpatients often require more involvement in patient care today which can cause problems and risks that may arise. The presentation is based on nurses’ who have experienced violence and threats in practice, and how nurses in Denmark handle a violence situation by using different tools and resources from the guidelines made for the local department. The aim of the study was to clarify, in which way nurses’ handle a violence situation and which consequences for the physical and mental health it can cause a nurse afterwards. The study is based on the nurses’ experiences conducted on the evidence-based database and has a qualitative research design. The collections of the data aspire to have a hermeneutic method. The results show younger nurses are more vulnerable to violence and threats than the older ones. The study concluded nurses who have been exposed to violence and threats need support to process and recover after the incidents, because of the risk of developing after reactions that can have an impact on the psychical and mental health.en_US
dc.description.abstractHemşireler hastanelerde, kliniklerde ve özel uygulamalarda önemli rol oynarlar ve sağlık alanında uzmandırlar, ancak hemşirelikte temel alan sağlık ortamında hastalara bakım sağlamaktır. Yatarak tedaviye ne kadar çok ihtiyaç duyarlarsa riskler ortaya çıkabilir ve bu da sorunlara neden olabilir. Sunum, uygulamada şiddet ve tehdit yaşamış hemşirelerin ve Danimarka’daki hemşirelerin yerel bölüm için yapılan kılavuzlardan farklı araç ve kaynakları kullanarak şiddet durumunu nasıl ele aldığına dayanmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, hemşirelerin bir şiddet durumunu hangi şekilde ele aldığı ve hemşirede neden olabilecek fiziksel ve ruhsal sağlık açısından hangi sonuçları ortaya çıkardığı. Çalışma, hemşirelerin kanıta dayalı veri tabanında yürütülen deneyimlerine dayanmaktadır ve nitel bir araştırma tasarımına sahiptir. Veri koleksiyonları hermeneutik bir yöntem emterler. Sonuçlar genç hemşirelerin şiddet ve tehditlere karşı yaşlılardan daha savunmasız olduğunu gösteriyor. Çalışmada şiddet ve tehdide maruz kalanların, stres geliştirme riski altında oldukları için olayları işlemek ve atlatmak için desteğe ihtiyaçları olduğu sonucuna varıldı.en_US
