Özet
İnsanlık varoluşundan itibaren, korku, dehşet ve psikolojik etki uyandırmak için bir şiddet yöntemi olarak başvurulan terör olgusunu sadece politik açıdan ele almak, gerekli çözümlerin ortaya konması sürecini geciktirmektedir. Bu çalışmada, “terör” ve “terörist” kavramları, kişilik özellikleri, kimlik gelişimi, grup kimliği, etnik kimlik, bağlanma ve risk alma davranışı ile ilişkisi bağlamında ele alınmaktadır. Bireyin, terör örgütüne katılma, terörist olma sürecini farklı değişkenler ışığında ele almak, risk faktörlerinin tespiti ve önleyici çalışmalarının geliştirilmesi için önem taşımaktadır.
From the beginning of the human existence, terror as a method of spreading fear and horror to create psychological influence on people, continue to lead both physical and psychological harm and trying to deal with this problem only based on political sciences, delays the necessary solutions. In this particular study, the terms of terrorism and terrorist are evaluated within the context of personality characteristics, identity development, group identity, ethnic identity, attachment and risk taking. It is crucial to discuss the process of being a terrorist and involving in a terrorist group on the basis of different variables to detect the risk factors and to develop preventive studies.
