Özet
Bilindiği gibi kültür, sosyal bilimlerin ortak bir konusudur. Kültür sorunu bugün çeşitli alanlarda ele alınmakta ve kültür(ler)e ilişkin pek çok araştırma yapılmaktadır. Antropoloji, tarih, etnoloji, sosyoloji gibi bilimler kültürü inceleyen başlıca bilimlerdir. Ancak, kültür kavramının tanımlanmış, onu inceleyen bilgi dalları için hayli güçlük yaratmıştır. Sosyal bilimlerde yaklaşık iki yüz dolayında kültür tanımı yapılmıştır. İoanna Kuçuradi'nin "Kültür ve Kavramları" adlı yazısı kültür kavramının içeriğini felsefi bakışla aydınlatan ve böylece kültür/insan sorunlarına ışık tutan bir yazıdır.
As it is well-known, the issue of culture is a common subject of all social sciences. The issue of culture is dealt with in a variety of fields and a great number of research has been done concerning culture(s). Anthropology, history, ethnology and sociology are the major sciences focusing on culture. However, the definition for the concept of culture has created some difficulties for the related majors studying it. As clearly seen, about two hundred definitions of culture exist in social sciences. Ioanna Kuçuradi's article entitled "culture and its conceptions" deals with the concept of culture from a philosophical viewpoint and makes the concept very clear. Her article enables us to solve some cultural and/or human problems in our world today.
