dc.description.abstractMizah kavramının toplumsal anlamda yeri ve önemini tartışan bu tez çalışmasının amacı, mizah anlayışının ne tür sosyal ve kültürel şartlar altında ortaya çıktığını ve şekillendiğini tespit etmektir. Mizah anlayışının toplum ve birey arasında nasıl bir etkileşim zemini sağladığı anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Karikatüristler ve stand-up komedyenleri ile yapılan derinlemesine görüşmeler sonucunda elde edilen niteliksel verilerle hem farklı mizah anlayışlarının şekillenme süreçleri hem de mizahın toplumsal işlevi ile ilgili bulgulara ulaşılmıştıren_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to reveal the place and importance of humor in the society. How does humor come about and shaped? Under which social and cultural contexts/ circumstances? It is tried to understand how the sense of humor provides a basis of interaction between the society and the individual. The qualitative data that was collected through in-depth interviews with caricaturists and stand-up comedians yielded findings on both the shaping processes of different humor understandings and the social function of humor.en_US
