Özet
Bu çalışmada fen eğitiminde laboratuarın önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. Özellikle fen eğitiminde başarılı sonuçlar veren sorgulayıcı yöntemde laboratuarın gerekliliği ve öğrencilere sunduğu kazanımlar gösterilmiştir. Laboratuar kullanımının verimli olması için izlenmesi gereken yolların belirlendiği bazı araştırmalara değinildi. Laboratuar kullanımının başarılı oImasında öğretmenin rolü üzerinde duruldu. Kaliteli fen eğitimine ulaşmada öğretmen adaylarının laboratuara yatkın bir şekilde yetiştirilmelerinin gerekliliği vurgulandı.
In this stud, the importance of laboratory in science education is stated. ln inquiry method which gives successful results, the necessity, of laboratory, and gains provided by, laboratory are explained. Some researches rceated with use of effetive laboratory are discussed. The teacher role in laboratory applications is emphasized. It is concluded that in order to reach a perfect science education, teacher candidates should be educated with intense lab-oriented education.
