Özet
ln the late 19th century, poly metallic nodules were discovered on the deep seabed. The amount of nodules was found enough to start commercial mining activities, Thanks to the developments in technology, new mineral resources were accessible. However, the possibility to access these mineral resources raised the question of jurisdiction of any state over the deep seabed. Therefore, a legal regime called "common heritage of mankind" was adopted to regulate jurisdiction over these resources. lt is a fact that common heritage of mankind principle has been interpreted in many difterent ways by States. Since there has been no juridical consideration of the common heritage of mankind principle to clarify these interpretations...
