dc.description.abstractEn basit tanımıyla Yapay zekâyı, insanı taklit etmeye çalışan makineler olarak da açıklayabiliriz. Yapay zekânın alt dallarından birisi olan yapay sinir ağları, problem çözmede insanın yerini almaya en yakın aday sistemlerdendir. Yapay sinir ağları, insan beyni gibi davranarak bir takım karmaşık hesaplamalar yapmak suretiyle verilen probleme çözüm bulabilirler. Yapılan bu çalışmada yapay sinir ağları, bu karmaşık problemleri çözebilme gücü sayesinde, yüzden acı ifadesi okuma gibi bir problemi çözmek amacıyla kullanılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn its simplest definition, artificial intelligence could be explained as machines trying to simulate human beings. Artificial neural networks, which is the sub-branche of artificial intelligence, are one of the closest candidate systems to replace with human in problem solving. Artificial neural networks could be solve the problems via performing complex calculations by acting as human brain. In this study, because of the power of artificial neural network to solve the complex problems, we aimed the pain detection from expressions at human face as a problem needs to solve.en_US
